Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me. –Isaiah 1:2

Have you rebelled against God?

God wanted to let the whole world know that his people sinned greatly against God. The people were so deep in sin that they did not even know God who raised them up. God smote them several times to his nation so that they may turn back to the LORD and yet they still did not. If you have gone far away from God, He wants you to turn back to him. God may be chastising you for some sin in your life. God does not want to discipline you for your disobedience but rather bless you for obedience.

If you have rebelled against God, will you turn back to Him?

If God’s people turn back to God and obey, then God shall allow them to eat the good of the land (Isaiah 1:19). But if they continue to rebel, then God shall allow them to fall into destruction by the sword (Isaiah 1:20). God does not want you to fall into destruction. He loves you so much that he gave his only begotten son to die on the cross for the sins of the whole world. 1 John 1:9 says that if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive our sins. Turn back to God. Ask Jesus Christ for forgiveness and start a new day by spending time alone with God. God shall surely bless you for it.
